Why does Trump love Pete Hegseth so much?

Because Hegseth lets Trump get away with everything. Hegseth is pretty much the parent who lets him eat ice cream for dinner every night.

Hegseth injects politics into the Department of Defense, a place where loyalty to our country, not to one man or political party, should be the priority.
