Trump continues to hit new lows in his disastrous second term.

Shortly after news broke of Hollywood director Rob Reiner's murder, Trump blamed Reiner because he had "TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME” and caused others "anger." Reiner’s own son allegedly murdered him and it had nothing to do with politics.

But as low as that was, this is possibly even worse: Trump issued an illegal pardon for Tina Peters, a former Colorado county clerk who was convicted of state crimes for election interference, tampering with voting machines, and criminal impersonation.

Lauren Boebert, of course, was ready to lick Trump’s boots and push to have yet another convicted felon released from prison (Boebert fought hard to get a Trump pardon for grifter and liar George Santos):

The President of the United States does not have the power to pardon people convicted under state criminal law. 

But Trump is pressing the boundaries of what he can get away with—and this is a clear attempt by Trump to lay the groundwork and the legal precedent to pardon any MAGA loyalist who is willing to try and steal elections for Republicans. 

What comes next could be worse than the violent attempted coup on January 6, 2021. 

That’s why it is time to defeat Trump’s loyal ally, Lauren Boebert.
