On Monday, we shared alarming news: the House of Representatives is fast-tracking one of the most devastating mining bills. The so-called Mining Regulatory Clarity Act would give control of Tribal and public lands to mining corporations.

If this bill becomes law, companies could bulldoze sacred Tribal sites, destroy homes and communities, and tear apart public lands—without consent or permission.

The good news: we’ve stopped bills like this before. Last spring, we defeated a similar bill in Congress, taking on some of the most powerful oil, gas, and mining lobbyists in Washington. With your support, we can do it again.
