Before we head into the election year, I want to hear directly from you.
December has brought major changes to our district and huge challenges for families across CA-49. Prop 50’s new maps mean 177,127 new voters will be added to the district, and we’re already preparing to introduce ourselves to communities who have never seen my name on a ballot.
At the same time, the shutdown’s aftermath is still being felt, and unless Congress acts by December 31st, ACA tax credits will expire -- leaving thousands of families in our community facing painful premium hikes. These are real consequences, and I’m fighting hard on the Appropriations Committee to prevent them.
With all of this happening at once, your input is more important than ever. As we build our strategy for the year ahead, I want to know what you believe should be front and center in both my work in Congress and this campaign.
