I’ve fought for freedom my entire life. Now I’m fighting for Northwest Ohio.

Friend,

I was a normal kid, living my best life, unaware of the gift that America was. I’d play with friends, eat McDonald’s – average kid stuff for an American. That was until I was kidnapped, dragged off to Saddam Hussein’s Iraq, and forced to live in one of the most brutal regimes on Earth.

In an instant, those childhood dreams and playdates were stripped away. I found myself without any of the rights or blessings I didn’t even know I had in America.

But through the efforts of my mother, the FBI, and some of the bravest troops on the planet, I was rescued and taken back home. Never again would I take for granted all the opportunity and freedom here.

But when terror struck my home, and terrorist hijackers launched the most devastating global terror campaign in history on September 11th, 2001, I knew I couldn't turn a blind-eye and just ignore the obvious threat to every American’s freedom.

So what did I do? I went back to Iraq. Not as a captive, but as a soldier, ready and willing to defend my country’s rights, its citizens, its values.

If that kind of service is inspiring to you, if that level of dedication to our home and its people motivates you to make a change, consider giving just $5 – that’s a cup of coffee – to help put in a leader for NW Ohio who will bring that same commitment to service and country to DC.

Northwest Ohio deserves a representative who has lived a life of service and understands sacrifice. I’ve faced the unimaginable as a child in Iraq, and I’ve chosen to serve my country and communities at every turn since. That same commitment drives me to run for Congress, so I can fight for your values, your jobs, and your families.

Your support ensures we can run the outreach, ads, and grassroots operations necessary to win this newly competitive district, and help advance President Trump’s agenda here in Northwest Ohio.

A NOTE FROM ALEA NADEEM

I love America — not just because I was born here, but because I know what it’s like to live without freedom.

When I was only 8 years old, I was taken from my home in Ohio and left behind in Iraq to live under Saddam Hussein’s brutal regime.

Overnight, I lost the freedoms so many of us take for granted and was forced to live in a country where women had no rights, speaking out could cost you your life, and your future was not your own.

When I finally made it back to America at 12 years old, I promised myself I would give back to the country that never stopped fighting for me. That’s why, after 9/11, I joined the Air Force.

For over 20 years, I have served this country in the Air Force and rose to become a lieutenant colonel. I protected America’s interests abroad, advised senior military leaders, and defended the freedoms too many take for granted.

Now, I’m taking that fight to Washington, and your donation of any amount would make a meaningful difference to power me in this mission.

Our enemies are growing bolder.

Our freedoms are being eroded.

Weak leaders in Washington have forgotten what it means to serve.

I haven’t.

I know what it means to fight for this country, because I’ve done it my whole life.

That’s why I’m hoping I can count on your support. Donate today to send new Republican leadership to Congress and expand our majority.
