Because of you, Health Leads was able to work alongside communities across the country to dismantle barriers to care, shift power into the hands of those closest to the challenges, and take bold steps toward racial health equity.
Together this year, we’ve:
Helped families access the food they need to stay healthy
Advocated for more doulas in hospitals to improve maternal health outcomes
Expanded access to and support for community health workers
Built a network of community leaders – 8,600 members strong – to share lessons, best practices and resources for both protecting and improving health
And so much more!
These wins belong to all of us. But we’re not done.
