To entice you to look inside the zine, here is a little sample of the stories:
-
RG Ohio partnered with Motherful to mobilize resources toward the first-ever housing cooperative in Franklin County, OH—designed for and by single mothers
-
RG Seattle collaborated with House Our Neighbors to hold elected officials accountable to tax big companies like Amazon and use that money to build social housing
-
RG Colorado threw down with United for a New Economy to repeal the ban on local control of rents across Colorado, which included deep canvassing to repeal Colorado’s regressive tax law
-
RG Philly and Poor People's Army worked together to raise 190k to buy a permanent building for PPA’s work, which will be a community center in the Kensington neighborhood of North Philadelphia
-
Bay Area RG joined the Sweeps Free Sanctuary campaign with Poor Magazine, and canvassed, researched, bought tents, built relationships, and raised over 544k to support the purchase of rent-free forever homes controlled by formerly houseless people.
-
RG Michigan worked with the Rent is Too Damn High Coalition to raise 39k (exceeding their goal!) to support basebuilding and organizing efforts in Detroit.
- RG LA launched a solidarity campaign with L.A. Chinatown Community Land Trust to find Chinatown’s first community-owned and permanently affordable housing
We’ve kept focused on housing in 2025, even amidst the compounding and urgent crises, because we know that housing and land are the keys to wealth accumulation in this country, and that building long-term, mutual relationships with grassroots housing organizations will result in the power movements needed for what comes next.
If you’re new or on the sidelines, if you don’t have direct access to wealth and wonder about your place in this work, we warmly welcome you into RG Campaigns, where we use the power of organized money, people, and position to tip the scales towards Housing Everyone!
Did these stories spark something for you? Are you ready to get trained on how to use the power you have access to for housing justice?
We're so happy that you're here and in this fight with us. RG will be on winter break from December 23 through January 4. We wish you a warm and restful time as well, and we'll see you in the new year.
In Solidarity,
Nora Leccese
Resource Generation Campaign Director
