Dear Friend,

The unemployment rate is now at a four-year high. I’m also hearing from folks who are seeing higher grocery prices at stores like Walmart. This is Congress’ last week in Washington before the end of the year, and time is running out to make life more affordable.

Since the start of the year, Trump’s policies have provided billionaires with lucrative tax breaks and have left behind hardworking people. This fall, Republicans in Congress refused to work with House Democrats to extend ACA tax credits. Now healthcare premiums will skyrocket by $459 on average in Texas. This is not what Americans want, including the 87,000 San Antonians who will be impacted.

With days remaining, I am fighting to protect affordable healthcare.

Is the Economy Working for You?

Last week, 70% of those polled said Congress should extend ACA tax credits. At a time when the economy is struggling, we don’t need healthcare costs to also rise. Our economy should work for hardworking Texans.

I know there is a lot going on, and I'd like to keep you updated. Connect with me on X, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, BlueSky, and YouTube. Please stay in touch and take care.

Sincerely,
