Folks,
The science is clear. The climate crisis is an existential threat to our country and humanity as a whole -- and our window to act is closing fast.
That's why Sean just introduced the National Security Resiliency and Sustainability Act.
This legislation would require the Department of Defense -- which was responsible for 45% of all federal government emissions last year -- to achieve net zero energy and water or waste consumption by 2035 and develop an annual sustainability plan.
"At a time when the executive branch has ceded its national and international leadership on climate change, we must demand that the federal government do better...[Reducing DoD emissions] is one of the easiest steps Congress can take to reduce climate change and help ensure national security." - Sean Casten
We can't afford to wait for President Trump and his climate change-denying lackeys in Congress to get on the right side of history. Sean needs 1,000 signers to support his bill to make sure our government is doing its part to tackle the climate crisis! >>

Ensuring the health of our planet for generations to come shouldn't be a partisan fight. Inaction and obstruction hurts us all -- Democrats, Republicans, and independents alike.
On behalf of our children and our grandchildren, we have to take a stand.
