The president is expected to focus his remarks tonight on affordability—an issue Democrats think is a major weakness for the president.
As I have repeatedly pointed out in media interviews, our daily reports, radio commentaries, and social media, Democrats caused the affordability crisis!
Inflation skyrocketed under Joe Biden because of the Democrats’ reckless, out-of-control spending.

American Values pushed hard to expand the child tax credit in the One Big Beautiful Bill. I worked with top White House officials and congressional leaders making the case for providing extra relief for working families.
That might seem like an easy sell, but there was more opposition to the idea than you might think, especially from establishment elites like the Wall Street Journal.
Thankfully, we prevailed. The child tax credit was expanded by 10%, and I will continue fighting to expand it even more!
