Election update - act - Watch - Read
The 2020 elections are four months away. All 435 House seats, 35 Senate seats, and the executive branch are in the balance.

Since 2008, 70% of Congress has changed. Over 100 new members of Congress took office in the last election cycle alone. This massive turnover requires constant planning and work to build meaningful relationships with viable candidates long before their election. Your support of AIPAC helps make that happen.

AIPAC is working to hold meetings with every viable congressional candidate to ensure incoming lawmakers are educated early on about the U.S.-Israel relationship.

Below are the latest numbers on open seats and candidates:

Congressional seats guaranteed to change:46
Meetings AIPAC has held with viable candidates for office: 338

Oppose Efforts to Restrict Aid to Israel

An amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) was introduced in the Senate to restrict U.S. security assistance to Israel in ways that would jeopardize Israel’s ability to defend itself by itself.

This amendment politicizes U.S. support for Israel’s security.

It contradicts the 2016 Obama Memorandum of Understanding by putting dangerous restrictions on Israel’s security assistance and undermines Israel’s security by prohibiting it from using U.S.-made equipment to defend itself in a variety of foreseeable scenarios.

Please urge your senators to stand with Israel and oppose this dangerous amendment.

Since its founding in 1979, the Islamic Republic of Iran has aimed to export its radical ideology throughout the region and beyond. To this end, Iran uses its own forces as well as proxies to attack those whom the regime opposes or who stand in the way of its expansion. Twenty-six years ago this month, Iran demonstrated its deadly terrorist reach in Argentina.
