Dear Friend,
My name is Michele Hicks, and I’m writing to you not as an actress or producer, but as a sister who has loved someone through severe mental illness.
My brother’s illness changed the course of my life. Like so many families, we faced crisis after crisis with nowhere to turn, trying to navigate a system that felt impossible to understand. The fear, the confusion, the isolation, it can wear you down. It can make even the strongest families feel powerless.
That’s why I became involved with the Treatment Advocacy Center (TAC).
TAC is the organization I wish my family had found sooner. Their Schizophrenia and Psychosis Resource Center and helpline offer clarity, guidance, and real support at the very moments when people feel completely alone. I’ve seen TAC bring light to families during some of their darkest, most overwhelming days.
And that’s why I’m reaching out today.
TAC’s End-of-Year Campaign is underway, and they rely on all of us – families, caregivers, and loved ones – to ensure no one has to face this alone. Your gift today means that when someone is overwhelmed, scared or desperate for answers, TAC will be there.
If you’ve been there, you know how much that lifeline matters.
Will you make a donation today to ensure more families get the help they need?
Your gift keeps hope alive for families like yours and mine.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Michele Hicks
