Today, I’m more than proud to share that I'm endorsing my good friend Mandela Barnes to be the next governor of Wisconsin.

This is a critical moment in our country –  no one can deny that. Mandela’s bold leadership is exactly what we need to tackle today’s problems with creative, innovative solutions. Will you split a donation between Mandela’s campaign and Blue Vision today?

I come from a family of educators, and it has been my life’s mission to make sure that future generations have the skills to learn, grow, and be civically engaged.

Education and the arts have been under constant attack by this current administration. And after hosting Reading Rainbow for more than 20 years on PBS, I was devastated to see federal funding for public broadcasting completely decimated.

I believe that protecting services like these is vital. Hearing each other’s stories brings us together, fosters connection, and keeps us engaged with our communities. I know that as governor, Mandela is going to do just that.

I look forward to seeing him on the campaign trail as he shares his vision for a Wisconsin where everyone can live up to their fullest potential. I hope you’ll join me.
