Dear Supporter,

Buses connect us to the people we love, the things we need and the places that matter. But in many places, buses aren’t working and bus stops are poorly maintained, lacking even basic information – as Francesca knows only too well.
Francesca "I recently had to take my son to an appointment somewhere I had not been before, and whilst I managed to work out which bus to get, the stop was not clear and we ended up getting off the bus late and having to walk back, making us late for our appointment. Afterwards, it was not clear which bus stop we needed to get back home, as there was little information on display."
- Francesca, Wiltshire
We think passengers like Francesca deserve better.

We're working with the Government, bus companies and local councils to improve bus services, make bus stops better and ensure that every community has a bus service they can rely on.

But we can't do any of this without funding. I'm writing to you one final time to ask if you can donate ([link removed]) to our Christmas Appeal to help us improve and increase services, and bring back buses to every community?

Your donation will help us to:
* Work with more councils to improve local bus services
* Make bus stops better
* Reconnect cut-off communities
* Keep campaigning until every community has a bus service they can rely on.

We know the issues bus passengers face, but we also know what to do to improve bus services, make bus stops better and ensure that every community has a bus service they can rely on.

This year, we successfully campaigned for a minimum service level for local buses and a national standard for bus stops to be included in the Transport Select Committee's recommendations to the Government.

Now we need to make sure the Government takes forward these recommendations.

If you can, please take this final chance to donate to ([link removed]) our Christmas Appeal.

"Taking a bus when I need to go into the town centre or to see friends means I can do these things, which are important to me, without adding to the damage being done to the earth. Three cheers for buses!"
- Morgan, Gloucestershire
Thank you so much for your continued support. Wishing you a wonderful festive period on behalf of everyone at Campaign for Better Transport. Jess Fitch
