Hi John,

Last night, we got the news that we had been hoping for -  that the UK has agreed a deal with the EU to rejoin Erasmus+. This is a fantastic opportunity for our young people, our universities, and our mission to rebuild relations with Europe. 

As another one of our 114 policy recommendations from 2023 is adopted by the government, we want to take the time to thank you for everything that you have done - whether it's writing to your MP, asking your friends and family to sign petitions, or making a donation. Thanks to you our young people will have the opportunities that many older generations benefitted from, as we repair the UK's relationship with Europe.

But now there is more to do. This week the UK Trade and Business Commission, set up by Best for Britain, published a report detailing proposals for a Youth Mobility Scheme (sometimes called a Youth Experience Scheme in government) that are likely to be approved by both UK and EU negotiators.

Will you read it, and make sure your MP has too?

We must celebrate this success. The agreement between the UK and the EU on Erasmus+ is a vital step in the right direction and a validation for all of us who believe in undoing the damage caused by Brexit.
