President Trump recently threatened me, and five of my colleagues — all because he didn’t like what we said in a video, where we reminded members of the military of our laws and the oath we all took to our Constitution.

What’s most telling is that the president considers it punishable by death for us to restate the law.

And now, Trump’s Department of Defense has announced it is investigating me for “misconduct.”

But as a veteran who loves this country and swore an oath to protect and defend the United States — no threat, intimidation, or call for violence will deter me from that obligation.

This isn’t about me. It’s about who we are as Americans, and the type of country we want to live in.

Fear is contagious, but so is courage. I will not be intimidated by these latest threats, and I hope you’ll stand with me in condemning the president’s calls for prosecution and execution. We must demand better.
