Multiple Arizona Republican lawmakers were scheduled to attend an event this week hosted by Republicans for National Renewal (RNR) — a far-right organization whose founder is an administrator of a Telegram chat that includes self-identified neo-Nazis.
The Arizona GOP is hoping you're not paying attention as they align themselves with the most extreme right-wing political agenda in modern American history.
We need to make sure everyone knows exactly what's happening, and we need your help getting the message out to hold AZ Republicans accountable:
The "Christmas Crusade" event was hosted by Republicans for National Renewal, whose founder previously hosted a podcast called "Blood Soil and Liberty" — an explicit reference to Nazi Germany. The group's executive director was a VIP guest at white nationalist Nick Fuentes' conference.
Arizona GOP lawmakers listed as attendees included Senate President Warren Petersen and State Rep. Alexander Kolodin, Republican candidate for Secretary of State.
After the AZ Mirror reported on the event, promotional materials were deleted, and lawmakers claimed they didn't know about the extremist ties.
But this wasn't the first time. RNR has held similar events in Arizona since 2021, where attendees yelled racial and homophobic slurs. Last year, Kolodin attended alongside RNR's leadership.
Your support helps us expose this extremism and hold Republicans accountable. When Arizona voters know who these GOP lawmakers really are and what they stand for, we win.
