John,
There’s a comforting myth circulating right now – that if voters swing hard enough, the House will simply fall back into Democratic hands.
But the data says otherwise.
Thanks to aggressive gerrymandering, the 2026 House map looks nothing like the 2018 map, where Democrats rode a blue wave. There are fewer competitive districts and far less margin for error. Democrats could post a bigger national swing than they did in 2018 – and still end up with a slimmer majority, or none at all.
That’s by design.
Republicans have carved the map, so wave elections don’t work the way they used to. Winning now requires flipping nearly every true swing seat, holding all our vulnerable districts, and expanding the battlefield early enough to catch Republicans off guard.
At GOTV PAC, we don’t wait for a wave to carry us. We build turnout operations strong enough to push voters across the line in races decided by hundreds of votes.
If control of the House comes down to three seats, losing even one winnable race could cost everything.
If you’re able, will you chip in today to help GOTV PAC do the hard, necessary work of winning in a shrinking battlefield? https://secure.actblue.com/donate/gotvpacemq2
