Peggy Flanagan, his handpicked protégé in our U.S. Senate race. If you missed it or meant to contribute but got busy, I wanted to follow up because this race is heating up quickly, and we can't let Bernie's political machine steamroll Minnesota. In his endorsement, Sanders praised Flanagan as the fighter to “stand up for working people against the billionaires and corporate interests.” Translation: She's his choice to push government-run healthcare, massive tax hikes on job creators, a crushing minimum wage, and more big-government overreach. That's the same socialism I battled against in my nine deployments as a Navy SEAL Officer – from combat tours in Iraq as a Marine infantryman to deterring threats in the Middle East and beyond. I’ve seen socialism destroy economies up close: families going hungry under government control, personal initiative crushed by bureaucracy, and freedom sacrificed for empty promises. I risked everything to defend American capitalism – the system that made our country the greatest on Earth.
