I’m writing to you directly because, as Campaign Manager, I can tell you that we have just hours left to hit the operational flash goal we set yesterday.
We must close this gap immediately to ensure we can hire the critical staff and launch the outreach that is essential to re-electing Suhas. Our end-of-year fundraising goal is the most important we’ve faced since Suhas was sworn in.
At a time when everyone is struggling with the affordability crisis, Suhas has been doing the hard work to ensure that we have funding to build more affordable housing, implement services for victims of human trafficking, and so much more.
He is not afraid to stand up for Virginians, even when it’s hard. He voted against reopening the government without assurances to save the ACA subsidies, and he expressed his disappointment in both Democrats and Republicans that no deal was made. Without these subsidies, Virginia families may see their health insurance costs increase by over $1,000 per month in some cases.
Suhas Subramanyam has dedicated his life to public service as a State Senator and Delegate, an Obama White House advisor, Capitol Hill staffer, volunteer firefighter/EMT, and now as a member of Congress. In Richmond, he worked across the aisle to support Virginians and protect Democracy, and he is dedicated to delivering the same results from Capitol Hill. Suhas resides in Ashburn, Virginia (in VA-10) with his wife, Miranda, and their two daughters.
