I recently received a letter from someone who is currently incarcerated.
I’m not sharing this to romanticize incarceration or hardship.
I’m sharing it because it raises a serious question about democracy, representation, and who we allow to imagine a different future.
This video reflects on lived experience, power, and what happens when the people most shaped by policy are kept furthest from the rooms where decisions are made.
