Hi I’m Tashi. I’m a youth member at Adhikaar — and I’m standing on the shoulders of those who came before me. 💙❤️

When I look at this photo from 2011, I see kids who found community, confidence, and connection through Adhikaar. They grew up here- learning their culture, raising their voices, and showing up for one another. Today, many of them are adults still rooted in these same values.

Because of their support and the support of this community I get to experience Adhikaar as a place where I belong. A place where my Nepali and Himalayan heritage is celebrated, and where I’m learning that my voice matters.
