Former YDG President nominated to run in John Lewis' seat!

The Young Democrats of Georgia send congratulations to State Senator, DPG Chair and former YDG President Nikema Williams for being nominated to carry on John Lewis' legacy ahead of November's General Election! 

After the sad loss of John Lewis, YDG President Rachel Paule and other members of the Democratic Party of Georgia Executive Committee had a tough weekend in mourning, while also finding someone to carry on his legacy. And as of an hour ago, the DPG chose Nikema Williams to lead us into a new era for the Atlanta Area. 

The Young Democrats of Georgia have no doubt that Senator Williams will lead the district well!
