I grew up dyslexic. Back then they called it “learning disabled,” but the truth is I just learned differently.

And I wasn’t alone.

A one-size-fits-all education system leaves too many kids behind. I know that firsthand.

That is why I believe we need to invest in our classrooms with:

And yes, a Department of Education.
