Y’all -- In Sen. Cornyn, we have a senator who says one thing and does another. Sen. Cornyn has been talking for YEARS about how we need to update our immigration system, but his actions tell a different story.

When he had the chance in 2006 to support a bipartisan bill spearheaded by John McCain that would allow for a path to citizenship for immigrant workers, he fought AGAINST it.

When he got the chance in 2013 to support another bipartisan bill that would protect DREAMers living in Texas, modernize our border security, and help fix the immigration system he decried for so long, he voted AGAINST it along with his boss, Mitch McConnell.

Now he’s doing NOTHING about an executive order that put a halt to most work visas, which will harm immigrants and the Texas economy that so many immigrants contribute to every single day! Our country, culture, and economy are built on immigrants, and you can be sure that when MJ is elected, she won’t just TALK about reforming immigration, she’ll DO SOMETHING about it.
