I’m emailing to ask if you can chip in $5 , and I have a pretty good reason for doing so.

There are currently five Senate races rated as “toss-up” and one of the most likely to flip is right here in North Carolina.

Democrats have virtually no chance of taking back the Senate unless we win our race, but many of the polls show us within the margin of error or just a single point away from our Republican opponent — it’s anybody’s game.

That’s why I’m personally asking:

Will you chip in $5 — that’s just $1 for each toss-up Senate race, including ours — today? If we want to flip this seat and take back the Senate, I’ll need your help right now.
