Friends,
I want to make sure there’s no confusion or misinformation, so I’m writing to tell you directly:
I am running to be DC’s Representative in Congress.
For the next several years, the decisions that shape our schools, housing, health care, and social services will be made mainly at the federal level. The funding streams that keep DC moving — or hold us back — will flow through Congress.
That means the congressional seat isn’t symbolic. It’s essential.
This is the seat that fights for DC’s budget. The seat that pushes for statehood and genuine autonomy. The seat that ensures our city isn’t treated as an afterthought in national decision-making.
Right now, that role is more critical than ever.
I’m running because I believe DC deserves a full-throated advocate — someone who will fight for statehood, protect our right to govern ourselves, and ensure federal policy strengthens our future rather than limits it.
I know we can build a brighter future for DC. But it will take organization, resources, and early support to ensure our voices are heard. If you believe DC deserves real representation with real power, I’m asking you to contribute today to help us win this race and fight for our city’s future. [[link removed]]
