I’m excited to invite you to an important and timely conversation with
Ilan Goldenberg, Chief Policy Officer of J Street on Wednesday, January
14, at 7pm at Rodef Shalom in Falls Church. The discussion will be
moderated by Rabbi Alexandra Stein. 

At a moment of profound uncertainty and urgency, Ilan will explore some of
the most consequential issues shaping our world today: The current state
of the ceasefire in Gaza, the evolving landscape of Israeli politics as
the 2026 elections loom and the far-reaching impact of October 7 on the
American Jewish community – including the horrifying rise in
antisemitism.

Ilan Goldenberg is a seasoned foreign policy and national security expert
with two decades of experience at the highest levels of US government. He
has been an advisor for multiple presidential administrations and served
at both the State Department and the Department of Defense before joining
J Street. His analysis is grounded in both policy expertise and a lifelong
commitment to Jewish and democratic values. 

As antisemitism surges globally and the path forward feels increasingly
complex, I’m eager to hear Ilan’s thoughtful and hopeful insights on how
