As 2025 comes to a close, we’ve been reflecting on the work we’ve built together — and the communities we’ve organized alongside.
This year, Texans showed that when we stand together, we can push back against state overreach, build new coalitions, and lead with courage. Because of you, we:
Supported communities in essential policy campaigns
Organized through escalating attacks from the state
Organized around the illegal attempt to redraw our state maps
Built working-class coalitions in cities across Texas
Created new protections and new local policies
Trained local leaders who are stepping into their power
Build national pipeline of support to aid our communities around rapid response organizing around local governments
Researched how our policy lives in practice in the day to day
This is what grassroots organizing looks like — sustained, intentional, people-powered.
