Just because you’re staying in doesn’t mean doesn’t mean your ally skills should slow down! So, stay safe and take these steps to engage:

  1. Learn: Check out straightforequality.org/healthcare to learn more about PFLAG National’s efforts to create more inclusive healthcare settings and to improve culturally competent care for people who identify as LGBTQ+.

  2. Watch: From Transilient and PFLAG National, Climbing Every Mountain is a 5-episode series that documents the crucial need for behavioral and medical health care for transgender, gender-expansive, and nonbinary people living in the Appalachia region.

  3. Share: Did you know that GLMA: Health Professionals Advancing LGBT Equality has a provider directory, created to help you locate LGBTQ+-inclusive healthcare providers? Share a link to their resource with people today.
