I made a difficult decision recently, and I wanted you to know about it.

After much thought and deliberation about how best to get involved in the next election, I decided to start Fight for the People PAC -- a PAC I can use to travel, speak out, and help elect Democrats everywhere.

What was tough about the decision was that we launched so close to an FEC fundraising deadline, where how much we've raised and how many donations we received will be public.

For better or worse, lots of people will be looking to see what we file. There will be people hoping to see you're still with me -- and there will be people hoping we fall flat.

That's why I am reaching out with a last-ditch request before this FEC fundraising deadline ends. Every donation sends an important message, and it also allows me to keep fighting for YOU and families like yours during the midterm elections.

So I am asking:

Can you please make a contribution to my PAC -- Fight for the People -- today? Our average online donation is around $30. Many give more. Some give less. No amount is too small -- it will all add up fast when so many people are chipping-in.
