Dear John,

Please join me in praying for the victims of recent attacks against Americans and their families. It is never easy to lose a loved one, but it is even more difficult around the holidays.

Ella Cook and Mukhammad Umurzokov were the two fatal victims of the Brown University shooting.

Two Iowa National Guards, Sgt. Edgar Torres-Tovar and Sgt. William Howard were killed in an attack in Syria.

Attacks against Americans are increasing, both at home and abroad. Stay vigilant. Those that want to harm America - and all it stands for, do not rest during the holiday season.
