John,

The 2020 election is quickly approaching and we know that many APWU members are eager to get involved.

As postal employees we are required to adhere to the Hatch Act, a federal law that limits certain political activities of federal workers.

Join us on July 22nd for a training where we’ll discuss how you can get involved in the 2020 election without violating the Hatch Act.

HATCH ACT TRAINING
Wed. July 22nd, 2 PM EST
Held online, via Zoom

The topics covered include:

  • What is the Hatch Act?
  • What political activities can postal workers participate in?
  • What political activity is not permitted on postal property?
  • NEW social media guidelines
