| John,
Mike Lindell, the “pillow guy,” and one of the country’s most prolific spreaders of election disinformation, just announced he is running for governor of Minnesota.
I want to be very clear: This matters for our democracy.
I’m going to explain in more detail, but if you’re ready to push back on election lies before they take root, will you chip in $10 or more to help us fund the truth?

Mr. Lindell has built a national platform by promoting the falsehood that voting machines are rigged and that elections are routinely “flipped.” He has doubled down on conspiracy theories that courts have rejected again and again. He has faced (and lost) lawsuits for defamation because of those claims.
And he says those same false claims will be at the center of his campaign here in Minnesota.
Even more alarming: In his announcement, he talked about how eager he is to “get control of the election equipment.”
Let me fact-check that in one sentence: Our governor does not have that power.
But the rhetoric is dangerous. It erodes trust. It feeds disinformation. And it puts real pressure on the truth and those of us who defend it.
My job is to make sure Minnesotans have elections that are fair, accurate, honest, and secure. That work doesn’t stop because someone loud enters a campaign. In fact, this moment demands that we stand even stronger together. If you believe in truth over conspiracies and democracy over disinformation, can you chip in today?
Thank you for standing with me,
Steve
