John, I’ll get straight to the point.
Tonight marks the end of our FEC mid-month fundraising drive, and we’re still a bit short of our goals. So, I’m looking for 230 people to make a contribution and help us catch up today.
A lot of amazing members of this grassroots team have stepped up over the past few days, and I am so grateful. But in a moment as important as this one, I still need a few more supporters to help us close the gap.
Listen, John, I’m not in Congress because I love to send fundraising emails, or because I love FEC deadlines.
I’m in Congress because I want to defend our democracy from Trump and the far-right. Because I want to help make health care accessible for working people again. Because I want to make sure that my daughter and my daughter’s daughters have the right to make choices about their reproductive health.
But fighting for all that takes time, and the only way I can give that time is if you keep me in Congress fighting for you.
Right now, with Trump attacking me nonstop, going as far as to launch a sham investigation into me, I need your unwavering support. He’s doing anything and everything to kick me out of Congress, so I need to prove I have this grassroots team by my side and we’re not going anywhere.
