Team, something big is happening across the country: Democrats are winning in red states, flipping seats Republicans once considered untouchable.

Ohio is next.

In partnership with Contest Every Race, we're working to recruit Democrats to run for local Ohio office in 2026 so we can challenge Republicans in every single race. No Ohio Republican should run unopposed, especially in the local offices that most directly impact our communities.

Can you pitch in $5, $10, or whatever you can before our mid-month deadline to fuel our work to identify and recruit Democratic candidates who reflect the values of our neighbors and will fight for Ohio’s everyday families? [link removed]

It’s clear the momentum is on Democrats' side. In the last few weeks alone, we flipped Governorships from Republican to Democrat in New Jersey and Virginia, overperformed in a special election for U.S. House in rural Tennessee by 12 points, overperformed in Florida state legislative elections by 20 points, and flipped a state house district in Georgia that Trump won by 12 points just last year. This fall, we won local elections in urban, suburban, and rural Ohio. But none of that happened by accident, it was a result of the hard work and dedication of people who refused to give in or give up, and who vowed to fight for our families.

Ohioans know that while Republicans are focused on how they can enrich themselves and their special interest friends, Democrats are focused on how government at every level can better serve our families and communities.
