I wanted to send you this quick note about the importance of our upcoming End-of-Year fundraising deadline. We’ve sent… a number of emails about it. (You may have noticed, sorry).

Trust me, I wish it wasn’t necessary to clog up your inbox. But the truth is, the majority of the donations we receive come from messages like these. So I hope you can understand why we’ve sent so many of them, especially before our numbers go public at the end of the year.

But I also know you’re probably feeling drained right now. And I doubt I’m the only Democrat sending you emails asking for money. With all that in mind, I wanted to make the smallest request possible today: One dollar.

One dollar, because the amount of money we raise isn’t everything. Yes, it’s important — but it’s not everything.

What’s really important is the number of individual donations. Because when we get that number high enough, trust me, it strikes fear into the heart of the Republican Party.

It’s hard proof that we can build something they never could: A real, grassroots-powered movement.
