We can’t forget how anti-choice politicians in states across the country exploited the COVID-19 crisis to attack access to time-sensitive and essential abortion care, or how anti-choice Senate Republicans already snuck in restrictions on our reproductive freedom by including an expansion of the dangerous and discriminatory Hyde Amendment in the CARES Act.1
The anti-choice radical right is so obsessed with ending legal abortion that there is no low they won’t sink to in order to advance their agenda. Now that we know what Mitch McConnell and his anti-choice allies in the Senate and across the country are capable of, we have to be ready to fight even harder and even louder to defend our fundamental freedoms.
