We’re halfway through December, and we are just days away from the final public fundraising deadline of the year. Our FEC report will show national Republicans exactly what kind of fight they’re walking into next year -- and we need to show strength.

The landscape in this race has shifted quickly. With Prop 50’s new maps, more than 177,000 new voters will be added to CA-49 -- most have never seen my name on a ballot or heard directly from our campaign.

Our opponent and national Republicans are working to define this race early. They’re watching our FEC report closely, and we already know they’ll be coming after us aggressively. A strong report will help to encourage them to look elsewhere to invest.
