Friend -- Over the past six months, the coronavirus pandemic has crippled our economy, devastating countless small businesses, families and individuals across the country. That’s why I voted for and helped pass the Heroes Act, legislation that extends the Paycheck Protection Program to December 31 as well as brings more money into the pockets of hard-working families.

It’s been two months since we passed the Heroes Act in the House, but we’re still waiting for the GOP-majority Senate to advance the bill while Americans continue to suffer from unemployment while struggling to put food on their tables and pay rent. 

We have to keep up the pressure. Sign my petition to send the message to the Senate GOP: We cannot wait any longer. Americans need relief now. Pass the Heroes Act immediately.

At the end of July, rent will be due again and protections from the last coronavirus relief package will expire. We have to act now to get Americans back on their feet during this unprecedented, difficult time.
