Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott has dragged his feet in setting up restrictions to prevent the spread of coronavirus, and it’s led to a record-breaking surge in cases:

Vox: “Texas hospitals warn they are running out of staff, PPE, drugs, and other supplies”

Abbott’s disastrous response to this pandemic has led to many preventable deaths. And Republican Michael McCaul has been by Abbott’s side, enabling his terrible policies and pushing the racist narrative of blaming China for our own mistakes.

Abbott is finally stepping up to slow the spread. But, with so many new cases and lives lost, it’s far too late — and he’s doing way too little. He’s enabled by Republicans like Michael McCaul who refuse to wear masks on the House floor and sow doubt in the virus’ severity.

Enough is enough. We won’t let Republicans make it out of this pandemic with no consequences — we have to show Michael McCaul that the people don’t support his reckless and cruel actions. Will you help us flip TX-10 blue this fall?
