[ [link removed] ]POLITICO HEADLINE - MURPHY: Trump on ‘deliberate campaign to make
violence more likely’

MAXWELL FROST: It doesn’t have to be this way. We can and must
end gun violence now.

This weekend’s shootings forced the same awful question: How many more
times?

There are two members of Congress most leading the fight for gun safety –
offering action and results, not "thoughts and prayers."

Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut, who was waiting to be sworn in as a
senator when the Sandy Hook shooting happened in his state 13 years ago
this past weekend, actually PASSED gun legislation in 2022.

Congressman Maxwell Frost of Florida, who helped lead the March for our
Lives movement after the Parkland school shooting in Florida, got a White
House level Office of Gun Violence Prevention implemented (before Trump
shut it down at the behest of the NRA).

This tag-team duo shows Democrats how to fight authoritarianism on a
regular basis – doing town hall meetings in red states and districts to
show the public outcry against Trump’s lawlessness.
