Hi John,

Republicans in the Maine State Legislature don’t want to come back to work to address the coronavirus pandemic. It’s painfully obvious that they are more interested in lobbing attacks at Democrats than they are in actually doing the jobs Mainers elected them to do.

Chip in today to help the Maine Dems defeat Republicans in the State House and Senate.

Under the Maine Constitution, Speaker Sara Gideon and Senate President Troy Jackson need consent from a majority of each party caucus to come back to work. Every single Democrat, Independent, and Tribal member is ready to work. But 67 Republicans refused to answer the call.

Republicans are blocking the Legislature from addressing hardships in childcare and education, housing insecurity, and the loss of employment, and much more. This is unacceptable.

Republicans cannot be trusted to lead in Maine, and they cannot be trusted to lead the nation. If you agree, chip in to help elect Democrats up and down the ballot.
