John, the media spotlight may not be on the Affordable Care Act Subsidies anymore, but I wanted to check in with you about where I stand in this fight.

For months, I have been doing everything I can in the Senate to negotiate a plan forward that doesn't skyrocket American's healthcare costs before the subsidies expire at the end of the month.

I can tell you from firsthand experience that the current party controlling the White House, House, and Senate is not interested in lifting a finger to prevent thousands of Americans from being faced with debilitating healthcare bills.

Republicans have attacked the ACA for over a decade, but when put in leadership and given the opportunity to come up with something better, they refuse to do the bare minimum and extend the credits.

As a Senator, I've always been proud to look for solutions. I believe we can do the most good when we put aside our differences in service to our constituents. But it is impossible to do that when the GOP refuses to govern.

We need real action to stop healthcare costs from rising, and we need Republicans to take this seriously. Add your name to demand the GOP extend the ACA subsidies immediately >> [link removed]

Thank you,

Chris
