Today is Trisha’s birthday. And we wish there were better news to tell Trisha today so she could relax on her big day, but here’s the truth:
Grassroots donations are falling off yesterday and today, and we are at risk of missing our mid-month, and possibly quarterly, goals to defeat Lauren Boebert this election.
To defeat Lauren Boebert and elect Trisha, we need to maintain strong fundraising every single day through to the election. As you can see, we took a hit this weekend and we need to get back on track.
Thankfully, Trisha was raised on hard work and persistence, so she won’t rest today until we get things where we need to be.
But that means Trisha will likely be working the phones even beyond our usual scheduled call time—potentially staying in the room from 9 am today until 10 pm this evening (later for donors on the West Coast). A miserable day of non stop dialing for dollars.
Lauren Boebert is extremely vulnerable right now, and we may not get another opportunity to defeat her than we will this election. She survived re-election by a mere 546 votes. And when Trisha took her on in 2024, Boebert ran behind Trump in every single county while Trisha performed better than Kamala Harris in every county.
Boebert can be beaten—Trisha just needs our support to do it.
That’s why these goals matter, and why Trisha would work through her birthday to make sure we hit them. We’re asking for your help so she doesn’t have to do that today.
