John,
You may be seeing a few more emails than usual this month, so I want to provide some context.
December is one of the toughest months for fundraising. Most people are making travel plans for the holidays and saving up for Christmas presents. I get it. I’m a dad. I know how fast expenses add up this time of year.
But this campaign is powered almost entirely by small-dollar donations. Not billionaires. Not special interests. Just regular people across South Texas who want a representative who actually shows up.
So when December rolls around, it hits grassroots campaigns like ours especially hard.
At the same time, we’re up against a well-funded opponent getting ready to spend big on attacks against our campaign. And on top of it all, our end-of-year FEC deadline is coming up, and we need to show we have the grassroots momentum to take on Monica de la Cruz.
So, if you’re able, I hope you’ll chip in whatever you can to our campaign to ensure we’re on track to meet our end-of-year goal:

Grateful for your support,
Bobby
