Friends,
On July 19 and 20 in 1848, a group of brave women who were motivated for change gathered for a two-day convention in Seneca Falls to write the Declaration of Sentiments stating that women and men are equal and deserve equal rights. It was the first women's rights convention and paved the way for feminism for generations to come.
Throughout my career, I've continued the work that these brave women started over a century ago. Here are some of the bills I've championed as a staunch advocate for women's issues:
H.R.1585 Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2019
H.R.1980 Smithsonian Women's History Museum Act
H.R.4528/S.2578 Women and Minorities in STEM Booster Act of 2019
H.R.1423 Forced Arbitration Injustice Repeal (FAIR) Act
H.J.Res.38 Removing the deadline for the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment
H.R.777 Debbie Smith Reauthorization Act of 2019
H.R.5592 PUMP for Nursing Mothers Act
I'm committed to making further achievements for women in this country on issues such as the gender pay gap, reproductive freedom, fair representation, women in leadership, violence against women, and so much more.
Join me in my conquest for universal women's equality. Rush a contribution now so that I can keep making accomplishments for the women of our country >>

When I was first elected, there were hardly any women in Congress, but today, we have over 100! We've come a long way in over 150 years since the Seneca Falls Convention, but there is still work to be done.
Until ALL women are treated equally, the fight is not over — that includes women of color, transgender women, immigrant women, disabled women, and the list goes on.
Today, 172 years after the historic Seneca Falls Convention, will you help honor these brave women and carry on their legacy by pitching in to help me fight for women in Congress?
