Four years ago today, families all across Canada started getting important new support.


Friend – Justin Trudeau and the Liberal team are committed to investing in our middle class and Canadian families, and that’s why one of the first steps we took in government was introducing the Canada Child Benefit.


Since then, it has helped lift hundreds of thousands of children out of poverty across Canada, and puts more money in the pockets of 9 out of 10 families to help with the high cost of raising kids. And this month, it’s increasing for a third time.

All parents want their children to have an equal chance at success, and no child should have their dreams held back because of poverty. And with the CCB, parents have more money for the supplies necessary to succeed – including things like nutritious meals, new clothes, and new at-home activities.
