John, it’s Eve – Shannon Bird’s campaign manager. I want to level with you as we head into the back half of December.
We’re halfway through the month, and we are not where we need to be to hit our final FEC filing deadline of the year. December is always a tough month for fundraising – people are traveling, budgets are tight, and political giving slows down.
But unfortunately, our opponents aren’t slowing down at all.
National Republicans have already signaled that CO-08 is one of their top battleground races. They’re gearing up to spend big to keep Gabe Evans in office, and if we fall behind now, we risk starting 2026 at a disadvantage we can’t afford.
Shannon doesn’t take a dime from corporate PACs. That’s something I’m proud of – but it also means we rely entirely on grassroots supporters like you, John. There is no corporate safety net waiting to close the gap at the end of the month.
So here’s where we stand as of this morning: We’re two weeks out from our FEC deadline, and we need to raise $4,820 by tonight to get back on track.
If 25 people reading this email chipped in $25 right now, we’d take a real step toward closing that gap. Can Shannon count on you to pitch in whatever you can today?
