Following a historic 2025 election cycle, the DNC is excited to announce ([link removed]) today two major initiatives to ensure our party has the talent pipeline we need to run and win battleground coordinated campaigns in 2026: Battleground Leadership Project and BlueMatch.

Battleground Leadership Project

Strong talent leading campaigns is essential to winning elections. That’s why the DNC is making a six-figure investment to recruit, place, and train Coordinated Campaign leadership in targeted states in Q1 2026. This proactive hiring push will ensure battleground states have high-quality, experienced leadership in place early in the first quarter, setting teams up for success to design, scale, and execute winning programs in 2026.


BlueMatch

Since the November 2025 election, the DNC has seen a 76% increase in the number of new applicants to our DNC Talent Bank – indicating a significant interest from staff to work on Democratic campaigns in 2026. That’s why the DNC is launching BlueMatch, a new service to connect this talent with Coordinated campaigns and state parties staffing up for the midterms. Starting in January, states will be able to submit job descriptions and receive batches of resumes from the DNC talent bank to review, interview, and hire for critical positions in the upcoming election cycle.


How You Can Support

To ensure we can staff 2026 campaigns across the country with the strongest talent, we’re asking partners to promote the DNC talent banks with your networks. If you know talented staff who want to work on campaigns or state parties in 2026, encourage them to submit their resumes to our job banks (and feel free to use the attached graphic):
